Painting Tutorial

This tutorial is a simple painting exercise to illustrate the use of the various painting tools. It is meant to familiarize the user with the tools and Chasys Draw IES Artist environment in general.

Photo-editing Tutorial

This tutorial is a simple editing exercise to illustrate the use of the photo-editing oriented tools. It is meant to familiarize the user with the basics of photo-editing and the use of layers and paths.

Animation Tutorial

This tutorial exercise shows the user how to do simple animations (such as the ones you see on the web) within Chasys Draw IES Artist. The tutorial assumes you have gone through the other tutorial exercises.

Layer-based Design Tutorial

This tutorial exercise puts the user in a real layer-based design session, where the user will be guided through creating a real world layered graphic using layers. The user will be shown various tricks and techniques, but will also be given room to explore and experiment with a view to make them find the techniques that they are most comfortable with.

Poster-making Tutorial

This tutorial teaches the user the art of poster-making. The user will be guided through creating a poster for advertizing a product. The user will be shown various trick and techniques, but will also be given room to explore and experiment with a view to make them find the techniques that they are most comfortable with.

Icon & Cursor creation Tutorial

This very short tutorial exercise shows the user how to create icons and cursors using Chasys Draw IES Artist.

Fun with Object Tools (a tutorial)

This tutorial exercise shows the user some of the amazing things that can be done with the various object tools. It is intended to show the user the power of these tools and how to put that power into practical use.

Mobile Photography Tutorial

This tutorial exercise shows the user how to make the best of the camera inside their mobile phone. The user will be shown the various technologies implemented in Chasys Draw IES that can help them get the best quality images possible, as well as a few tips on using the camera itself.
